Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data Balancily handles, what for, and who it is shared with. The controller is Lily Technology Group LLC.

1. What data we collect

• From your account: company name, each user's name and email, password (stored encrypted, never in readable form) and the language you chose.
• What you upload: invoices and receipts, amounts, dates, your customers' and vendors' names, assets and the files you upload.
• Billing: the record of your subscription. Card details are received and stored directly by Stripe; we never see them.
• Technical: access logs (date, IP address, browser) to diagnose failures and detect improper access, plus an error report when something breaks. That report carries what failed and where, never what was on your screen nor the content of your requests (see §4).

2. What we use it for

To provide the service: display your reports, read the invoices you upload, calculate the suggestions, charge your subscription, send you essential emails (account verification, password recovery, billing notices) and answer your support requests. We do not sell data or use it for advertising.

3. Automatic invoice reading

When you upload an invoice for the system to read, the file is sent to an external artificial intelligence provider (Anthropic, in the United States) which extracts the vendor, amount, date and number. Under that provider's terms, content sent through its API is not used to train its models.

If you would rather no invoice ever leave the system, do not use automatic reading: you can record everything by hand and the result is the same.

4. Who it is shared with

Only with the providers needed for the service to work:

• Amazon Web Services — hosting of the system and the database.
• Stripe — subscription payments.
• Anthropic — automatic invoice reading (see §3).
• Resend — delivery of the system's emails.
• Cloudflare — the network that serves the site and protects it from attacks. Your requests to the system pass through it, so it sees your IP address and browser. It also forwards to our inbox the emails you send to soporte@balancily.com.
• Sentry — error reports. It is configured not to send user data or request bodies: what travels is what failed and on which screen, not the numbers that were on it.
• Google — visit measurement, and only on the public pages. It plays no part inside the system; see §5.

We do not share your information with anyone else, unless a competent authority legally requires us to.

5. Cookies and measurement

We use a cookie to keep your session open and remember the language you chose. It is necessary for you to use the system.

On our public pages — this one, the home page, pricing, and the sign-in and sign-up screens — we use Google Analytics to know how many people visit us and which pages they read. It collects the page address, your browser language, your device type and a truncated version of your IP address, which cannot identify you. We do not send it your name, your email or anything you have typed.

Inside the system there is no measurement of any kind. Once you sign in, no external tool records which screens you open or what you do: what you see there is your business's bookkeeping, and it does not leave here.

We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we neither sell nor share data with advertisers. If you would rather not be measured, you can block it with Google's official opt-out extension or any blocker: the system works the same.

6. How long we keep data

For as long as your account exists. If you cancel, we keep the information for 90 days — so you can come back without having lost anything — and then delete it. You can request immediate deletion by writing to us.

7. Security

All traffic is encrypted. Passwords are stored with a one-way hash function. Each company works in a separate data space and the system checks on every query that only its own is accessed. You can enable two-step verification on your account.

8. Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your data, for corrections, or for deletion. Write to soporte@balancily.com and we respond within 30 days.

9. Minors

The service is aimed at businesses and is not offered to people under 18.

10. Changes

If we update this policy we will change the date in the header and, if the change is significant, we will notify you by email or within the system.
